The DEP has decided it won’t have public hearings on three major modifications that Sunoco is planning for the Dragonpipe (Mariner East pipeline system) at Meadow Creek Lane and Lisa Drive in Chester County, and at Riddlewood/Tunbridge Apartments in Delaware County.
Today, the period for written public comments is ending. Let the DEP know that written comments are insufficient. Actual public hearings (once this becomes possible) are necessary. No permits should be issued until the hearings are held.
I wrote about this previously, and I hope you sent a comment to the DEP then. But if you didn’t, today is your last chance. The Clean Air Council has made it very easy, even to the point of providing a web submission tool with pre-written comments that you can edit, if you like, before submitting them. All the details are in my previous post here. Or, just go straight to the Clean Air Council site here. But don’t put it off!
