Sunoco is planning to drill under Boot Road between Route 202 and the Boot Road/Ship Road split. The deadline for public comments was December 31, but it has now been extended.
Bernie Greenberg forwarded me the following information from State Representative Carolyn Comitta:
I asked DEP to extend the comment period. Following is their reply: “DEP discussed and can accept public comment until Jan 5th and still keep to their court ordered deadline for review of SUNOCO’s HDD request.” The Jan 5th deadline is not a formal extension, but gives a few extra days beyond the holidays for people to comment.
